No Picture or Poor Picture?

If you currently have a Digital Box or DVR:

  • Make sure that your TV is on the Correct Input (example HDMI or Composite) or Channel (usually 3 or 4)
  • Make sure that your VCRs or DVD players are turned off.
  • Make sure you are actually controlling the cable terminal (press the CABLE button on the remote).
  • Reset your Digital Box or DVR by unplugging it from the wall and wait 30-60 seconds before plugging it back in.
  • Make sure all cable connections are finger tight.
  • Wiring may be incorrect if you have recently added a new piece of equipment, which causes blue screen or snow.

If you have VCR/DVR combo and using composite cables, your signal will not pass through if the VCR is off. This will cause blue screen.

If you do not have Digital Box or DVR: Ensure that the connection to your TV is secure.

If none of the above solutions resolve your problem, please call TCA @ 712.930.5593
