Call Waiting / Cancel Call Waiting
When the customer is using his or her telephone and a second call comes
in he or she will hear a tone indicating an incoming call. Flash hook
(quickly placing the phone on, then off-hook again) will put the original call on
hold and answer the new call. Subsequent flash hooks will switch between
the two calls. If the customer does not wish to be disturbed by additional
incoming calls, the call waiting feature can be deactivated for the
duration of one call. Before placing a call dial *70. A confirmation tone
will be heard followed by dial tone. The customer can then place a call
and any additional calls will be blockedfor the duration of that call.
